Expanding to yet another region means a lot to us. First of all, we want to support the Rainbow Six: Siege talent from all around the world, and the second thing is that no one can truly claim himself World Champion without facing the whole world. That’s why we added APAC to the Rainbow Six Pro League. However, APAC is handled differently since it consists of four sub-regions: Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and Australia-New Zealand. Now each of those sub-regions will be represented at the tournament in Australia.
The APAC Season 3 Finals will take place on October 21-22nd. Eight squads will fight for a prize pool and two spots at the Rainbow Six Pro League Season 3 Finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Is that all? No! The winner of the entire event will also qualify for the second edition of the Six Invitational as the representant of the APAC! So how did the online part of the APAC Pro League play out? Smoothly, it turns out! Each sub-region was more or less dominated by a set number of teams who ended up qualifying to the regional finals. The following teams will meet on October 21-22nd:
